Matador Grill Bar And Restaurant

I like this restaurant. it is delicious. sweet smell and taste extremely good. mojoto minze, lemon, around) drive me crazy. watermelon juice is cool. bbq is wonderful.

I really want to like this place. The restaurant is on the main Ham Tien drag. The set up is wonderful, right next to the beach, visually very cool looking restaurant from the moment you walk in the place. The homemade bread is great and the food portion is large. The salad was ok, way too much onion. My biggest pet peeve was that the meat was very salty and dry. I had to dip it in ketchup every bite just to get it down. I'd like to try this place again and see if they can prove me wrong.

Good things first: the food is really good and you get big portions. unfortunately there is also a big minus: there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant and she was totally unable to cope with the guests and she was unfriendly. we ordered a grilled beef and some side dishes. the side dishes arrived at our table and we thought, ok the beef needs a little bit longer...but after 10min of waiting (the side dishes got cold) we asked about the beef and she told us that they dont have any beef left. i dont know if it was because of the language barrier... when we wanted to pay the waitress listed higher prices for the dishes and put an extra of 45000vnd for whatever??? after we reclaimed the check she instantly wrote the right prices, but still....really unsatisfying.

Food was good and the concept is cool, but the ordering system and overall service is amateur and disorganised. Avoid on a busy night.

The service at matador was terrible, hands down. We ordered within 5 minutes of arriving and waited in total 2 hours for our food. We had to remind them of our order twice because they forgot and when I finally got my food my partner got her food 20 minutes after I was already done eating. Avoid this place on a busy night food isn’t worth the horrible service.
