Casa Lorca - Pézenas

What a disappointment, the welcome is lovely and the home cooking but the products are not of quality: Bland peppers and octopus which had no taste (yet there are some in the region and some good ones), frozen shrimp which I didn't dare touch, shoulder too salty. And the worst was the sangria: made instantly before our amazed eyes (even though it should be left to macerate normally), with low-end products, as a result it just had a chemical taste of industrial juice. I didn't touch it and we were still charged, even though the waitress saw our displeasure. Frequented mainly by tourists, we won't be taken back. Too bad because there was potential.

I recommend this small Spanish restaurant in the historic center of Pézenas which stands out for its varied and exquisite tapas, menus, menus and dishes and desserts, all very rich and made with fresh products. It also has a wide range of wines and beers from Spain and France and the service is attentive and efficient.

So a shame that we found this restaurant only in our last night of vacation! excellent meal with excellent wine.
