Chalet Altobelli - PETRELLA SALTO

The spot is great: at a small lake in the province of Rieti. The fixed menu was good, but the service should be better, also seen the fact that during holiday season they are supposed to be used to many clients. At Altobelli you can eat and relax because at the water front you can rent a sun bed. The prices are still very reasonable.

We had a brilliant lunch with my partner and my son. The view is amazing , just beside the lake,the food was really good. If you come here you must ask for the chalet antipasto,a great selection of traditional dish of the area . We had fettuccine with truffle and porcini..Just perfectly cooked pasta , nice juicy porcini. We will come back 100% !

They have recently put in a pizza oven which makes for a pleasant break from sitting on the beach. The veranda overlooks the lake and affords a nice setting for a coffee or a beer and sandwich.
