Bidra med feedbackBeen here many times over the years. This time I ordered a fish sandwich which seemed a bit expensive at $20.95 but whatever. Was told everything was a la carte, Even chips? Yes, even chips are extra. I changed my order to a (small) crock of chili at $10.50. I jokingly said to my friends, watch I bet I don't even get crackers. Sure enough, no crackers. I did get a tiny slice of bread. There were 6 of us, 3 had burgers or sandwiches, 2 had chili, 1 order of fries and maybe 2 beers. The bill was over $100. Not again. My suggestion: charge whatever you want for food but don't skimp on the little things, it makes you look cheap and petty.
My sister had her wedding at the Perry hotel this weekend. Last night was last call at 10pm before then closed. All the lights came on at 10:30 (close is 11) where they promptly made it clear we were unwelcome. Tonight, post wedding, they seemed super unhappy to be serving us. 2 nights in a row and plenty of money and both nights we felt very unwelcome. Stinks such a cool wedding venue can have such an unwelcome and sad after party.
Just really good food and nice service. The pizza tastes very good and the service was quick for the busyness of the place. We were seated quickly and had no problems through the night.
Been here many times over the years. This year after not being able to get popcorn with our cocktails at 9:30 pm, I asked to speak with the manager. Eddie the manager got ballistic with me and literally grabbed my drink out of my hand and told me to leave... because I offered him a ridiculous amount of money to fire up the popcorn machine. Eddie needs to retire. The hospitality business has become too much for him. Our waiter was great, but the management under Eddie, has no idea what customer service even means. Very disappointing since I was the one who encouraged our party to spend our evening at the Noggin Room.
My favorite place in Petoskey to grab some drinks and food. It is located under the Stafford Davis hotel. The bar is small and cozy. I've always been able to get a seat and have had many interesting conversations with other patrons. The bar tenders are always friendly and prices are not bad for a tourist area. There is a larger dining area attached.
