Huddle House - Petersburg

Service was pretty good! We had a bomb waitress working in the a.m. (Tavia I think) very sweet girl! She made sure we got our food in time... She and another waitress were the only ones working on the ground, and I thought she was amazing. She was great at multitasking. It was easy to wait, but it wasn't bad. The cooks worked very well with our food. I'd eat there again!

Food was good, service excellent! People are nice and friendly. M Food was fresh and delicious.

So I can say this was my first time Huddle House, and I wish I had earlier! Prices are AMAZINGLY affordable. But the best part is the FOOD! I have the steak and egg breakfast plate with grains and toast! I mean that with all due respect for this place, that was the best tasting “Schacht” Rib Eye I ever had! It was tender, juicy and paired so well with my geese! Definitely a place to get comfort food for breakfast! The staff at this point was amazing and the chefs seriously love behind all their dishes! From your ever-traveling south, Huddle House is a must!!!

It is a miracle that this place is no longer busy at night! We had a wonderful experience tonight with Carrie and Aaron as our servers. Aaron let us sit and gave us menus to make sure that we quickly and politely gave us time to browse the menu. As a family of three, we ordered an appetizer and three meals. The appetizer (short basket) came very shortly after the order and it was perfectly cooked; nice crunchy outside with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth shrimp inside. Just before it came to our table, Aaron and a few pommes fell out of the basket. He was very apologetic, but we let him know it was good! He came out with more fries anyway, which we felt happy. Aaron soon came with our meals; we probably only expected 15 minutes for them and only Carrie and Aaron worked tonight. Everything looked like the pictures! Fresh, hot food that tastes phenomenal. I don't know how they expect people to order from the Dessert menu, we were stuffed halfway, but sold to soldiers... and still needed to go bowls. Aaron also offered to-go cups you don't see too much. Overall, Carrie and Aaron were very polite, funny and accommodating. I can't believe how fast they (two people) cooked everything while the food still looks visual; the definition of efficiency. I will recommend Huddle House to anyone looking for great food and excellent customer service, and we will often dinate here!

This was my first time dining here and I was very impressed our server Savonya was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The praline pancakes were delicious 11/10 as well as the biscuits and gravy. The price was unbeatable definitely better than ihop me and my fiancé will be coming back
