3rd Base Sports Grille - Petersburg

Filthy. Odd lighting and odd decor but that 's nothing compared to the rude, clueless employees behind the bar. Rude. Filthy. Stupid; that the staff of 3rd base. At least on a Tuesday night. No greeting upon entry, not a word nor a glance from either of the young girls who were barely busy shuffling around behind the bar, lazily stacking dishes that were cleaned but still had obvious crust and muck on them, all while ignoring guests and arguing openly about who had to take them . Energy received! They employees don 't want to be there and soon neither did we. But, being the only bar open, we waited. And waited. After a 4 hour drive on our way to a quick camping trip between busy schedules, the last thing we wanted was to feel like a burden to some 20 year old drop outs who couldn 't pour a beer to save their lives. We waited well over 15 minutes before the server with tattered fake nails glowered from behind her rats nest and mumbled ya 'll wanna order? The bar was a cluttered mess so crud-stuck the menu clung to the edge of my leather jacket after I rested my forearms on it. Once addressed, I asked for a menu. Without a word the ill-mannered sloth pointed to the crud covered food menu beneath the sleeve it clung to. It was obvious by her demeanor that she didn 't have two brain cells to rub together to ascertain that, though I had a FOOD menu, I needed a DRINK menu. When I clarified she again rolled her eyes and handed me a smaller, equally sticky, cocktail list. While we waited for the single bud light we had already ordered we saw other guests depart, wish a good night to the workers who couldn 't be bothered to look up from their cell phones to say good night in kind. Such disrespect. Such inhospitable nature. How do these two invalids have jobs?? We hike around here often. This was the first time we spent the night and attempted to enjoy some local vibes. Not at 3rd base. Here you 'll feel like you 're in the damn dugout. If you need a pre/post hike drink take some advice we should 've taken ourselves; pack it in!

This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She allowed us to sample a couple wing sauces and I settled on the suck wind flavor. It had a good taste and just the right amount of heat. The medium boneless is a huge amount of wings. They were cooked perfectly and had lots of sauce. The sweet tea is fantastic.

Was in to place an order, stood at the counter and was ignored by the waitress. after nearly half an hour of waiting a few of the other patrons there asked her if she was going to take my order. she was rude. I messaged the owners and received NO response. I will not go back again.

Great food and drinks. Server Hannah needs to find a job more suitable to her personality which definitely isn't customer service compatible
