The Cheese Steak Shop - Petaluma

The restaurant and bathroom was really dirty, and the sandwich was mediocre. No paper towels in the bathroom. I usually love Cheesesteak Shop but this location is weak.

While in Petaluma, Boyfriend and I decided to try the Cheese Steak Shop and we were not disappointed. I got the Motown Philly with chicken and Boyfriend got the King of Philly with chicken. I think we ordered after lots of people called in their orders because it took them a long time to finish our order, but it was worth the wait. The steak fries were yummy and the sandwich was delicious. I have no idea why I decided to get it with peppers; I hate peppers. But they were easy enough to remove and put on Boyfriend's sandwich. We couldn't finish our meal there so we got it to go. The young guys helping us went MIA, I think they were watching soccer, so we had to reach over the counter to grab our own paper bag, but that's okay. I would definitely eat here again.

If you miss Philadelphia or have never been, come to Petaluma! I've had my order ready for pick up in 8 minutes! The dudes behind the counter are always so nice and I enjoy that they try to make sure every order is correct and fresh. If you're cool you get the cheese sauce on your sandwich!

I really like this place. The food is delicious and the crew that work there are very nice and professional... that being said, I definitely dont reccomend delivery.1 sandwich was $27.32!? after the fees That 's if doordash even bothers to pick up your order. They tend not to even pick up your food unless you give them at least a 30% tip... after they already marked up the menu price.Doordash is a horrible service it is rated a 1 as a company, go read the reviews... and you put your reputation in their hands? It will be downfall of all these places offering delivery now because it costs them customers.Won 't bother ordering again just to have some other company charge me DOUBLE and then not even show up.
