Bidra med feedbackLydia 's tale is a story of resilience. She has survived earthquakes, fires, COVID. She owned restaurants in Petaluma (Sunflower Center) and Sebastopol (Lydia 's Express) While both closed, she managed to have a pop-up and somehow, miraculously, with a combination of grace&grit, opened a brick&mortar store last year. She 'd also teach classes on vegan wellness at the Whole Foods in Napa. She makes excellent veggie burgers (they 've won awards&deserved them), and they were made with beets long before the Beyond Meat used beets for blood. There are delicious sprouted bars (about $4 a pack), especially the cacao. Her vegan cheesecakes are as rich as the dairy version. Her kale chips- about $8 a bag- are filled with flavor, especially the Herbes de Provence and Southwest flavors. Lydia 's foods are made with love, and you can taste the joy.
The place to go for all your diet and connoisseur dreams!!! Not to be missed. Nothing compares to the care Lydia prepares for her beloved Sonoma County. Clean, well made, healthy and still, all that, tasty!! Don't forget a her desserts and catering. A true Somoma County gem tucked away in a strip mall just off 101 and Penngrove exit.
I adore Lydia's. I always have. They were often the highlight of festivals for me with their well organized food booth set up. I would beam just reading their fantastic curated menu, full of dreamy vegan goodness. They put so much love and integrity into each of their products and you can taste it. From their delicious green crackers (which are wonderful for taking on long trips and then topped with avocado), to their buckwheat crepes, to their healthy smoothies, to their decadent raw pies and so much more they are the best. They truly are. I am so glad that they have persevered through the years and that they still have a location which they serve their fantastic dishes and products from. If you are looking to support an incredible local business and invest in your health at the same time check out Lydia's website and try some of their pre packaged vegan items. I plan on ordering some today :)Trust.
A hidden gem for organic and vegan foods. The shop is tiny, but packed with goodies, including a cool case of take out items, dried veggie snacks and a collection of essential oils and spices. They do soups, vegan loafs and more, and the front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable. It's amazing what folks can come up with when they want to eat clean.
I love Lydia's! I get her green alkalizing soup and chocolate chip zucchini cookies and they are always a hit and yummy while also making me feel satisfied and never upsets the stomach. Come here often just for those cookies they're the perfect substitute for cookies while also satisfying any sweet craving!
