Bidra med feedbackWe ordered the mushroom bruschetta (gluten free) and pancakes. Both were a let down! They initially got my order wrong, however they were quick to fix it. The gluten free bread which they charge $6 for was stale, hard and uneatable. The pancakes were dry and mediocre. The only positive was - staff were friendly.
Delicious almond croissant and flourless orange cake. The coffee was decent. We had really good service although it was really busy. It is a bit loud inside and would recommend sitting outside.
Okay coffee Bacon was so salty I drank a whole bottle of water afterwards Zucchini and corn fritters were so doughy with very little zucchini and corn - it may as well have been a pancake
Solid coffee and cake - disappointing on all other scores. Having been here several times now, all I can say is that Small Print is a land of stark contrast and dichotomy. I really like their coffee and baked goods selection, so when it was suggested as a work breakfast location, I thought we were on to a winner. Not so... The dine in service was rubbish. There is unfortunately no way to sugar coat that. Two dishes arrived only as the others were finished (as an attempt to eat before it went cold) and 50% of the late arrivals were the wrong order! To add insult to cold and unappealing injury, the French toast (as described by an experienced French toast consumer) was the 'worst ever'. And all this is such a shame as their coffee is really good. Now here's the quandary - do I keep going for coffee even post this experience? Yeah, probably, but don't bother with a dine in.
Ordered the chicken fettuccine and the garlic prawns with grilled sourdough for lunch. The fettuccine was full of flavor , an amazing dish. However, the garlic prawns was a boring dish, the prawn itself was not fresh either. Great coffee at this cafe. Keen to try out their bakery next time, look very delicious.
