Bidra med feedbackCame here on Melbourne Cup Day and they had a free sweep stake and a few TVs showing the race. Was good to have a decent lunch watching the race without the inflated prices.
This place is a great, well located and non-fuss restaurant for practical-minded people. order them on the switch, pick up their order when it is finished, and let the waiters make sure they are well equipped with drinks. it serves classics such as steak, parmigana, lasagne and pasta as well as some desserts and specialties. the staff here is courteous and approachable and is pleased to let them know how the place I went here with a friend to dinner and it was pretty good. nothing spectacular to comment, but this is the business model efficient, reliable and affordable. it is a good system and one that I keep around for many years. it has a beautiful veranda...read more
I'm going to lunch with a little drink. if they are lucky enough to get a good license that they occasionally hand out, it will be hard to beat for worth eating is consistently good.
I'm here to get a beer and a snack while I waited for the woman to finish shopping. I ordered a beer then went to order a bowl. (they have to order from any reason to separate counters) at the eatable they tell me no I can't have a bowl until after 3 o'clock (I was there 2pm) they only do meal until then and no side. I sat down, I thought it would try again. the guy was shitty he couldn't sell me. I asked him to ask his manager. they finally agreed. then they come out and tell me that my order is ready to collect. So I pull it out of the kitchen! all in all. big french and beer, but terrible terrible service! safe everyone is better than not...read more
Pub eat in the 3rd floor eatery in the carillon arcade. order them at the counter and collect them at the counter, cutlery and water self service very canteen style that lets me ask why they hang so many waiters around, nothing to do. eating comes within 10 minutes, however, as advertised, which is quite good. had the fish and chips, decent portion and cooked surprisingly well, crispy and not dry at all. bit on r expensive side for pub grub though.
