Romany - Perth

We are not often in perth, but if we always call. a bit scary this time, since my wife has been on a strict diet for a year, but she wanted to celebrate our 30-year anniversary of high school in romania. it was certainly not a time that I saw her enjoy her meal from the starter-brill desert. no problems, both personal and owner went out of the way to make them special at night. all the dishes (and drinks) were as good as usual and we really had the best at night for a long time. huge thanks to all at romany, we will be back!

Nothing has changed in 30 years (the carpet looks the same). a caffe with tablecloths and space between the tables good acoustics. efficient service, hugely served order from the menu or simply ask what they want and they will make it for them. wein is a bit exe, but always it is! edible at night not elaborate, but delightful.

I eat a lot, but this time I had an salate and I was really surprised with what I had. the best cesarsalate I've ever eaten, and the last time I tried it, it was at my young age. it was tasty and it brought pleasant memories so 5/5 of me.

If you want poor quality and bland taste at a premium price then look no further. I am baffled at how they can charge $26 for 2 very thin pieces of herb crumbed chicken breast that do not come with any sides. There must have been a typo on their menu as their chicken should have been described as being herb-less as it was bland as bland could be. On top of that, both pieces of chicken had a very tough piece of connective tissue which ran length-wise, making it difficult to cut and eat. A major downer despite the friendly wait-staff.

Ordered three chicken parmigianas, recieved three veal parmigianas instead, two got sent back to the kitchen to be fixed, staff were very sorry, bought two back out one was chicken and one was veal again, pointed it out to the staff who were then very rude and said sorry I obviously cant help you because it's obviously chicken, they took it away and came back 15 minutes later and didn't apologise but did say it was veal again. Owner was quite rude but did take one of the parmigianas off the bill and our drinks which came out forty-five minutes after we got our food and had basically finished eating.
