Bidra med feedbackI love all the food that i ever order there. They all beautiful. The staffs and the owner are very friendly and helpful. Small place but nice.
I love this place!! I have been frequenting this place since my uni years and food here has always been consistent. Dishes that you must try are empek empek, ikan bakar manise and telur balado. You will always leave this place happy, full and satisfied. Seriously a gem in the CBD :).
Their kondro bakar (tender beef ribs with peanut sauce) is probably one of the best Indonesian dishes in WA - and I strongly urge you guys to try one if you haven't already tried one! Priced at only $9.50 (+$2.50 rice), the beef meat is so soft, tender and juicy, and already stripped off the bones to let you dig in straight away! More please!!! Located just north of William Street, Manise is a local Indonesian restaurant with plenty of homemade authentic Indonesian delicacy priced at very affordable price. Apart from the konro, I also recommend the kulit ayam (fried chicken skin) to share or even to munch personally. It's crunchy and its spicy-savoury flavour tastes really good. Manise also has a line-up of Indonesian trademark beverages and dessert including es syrup, happy soda and my favorite ice cendol (ice pandan jelly eith coconut milk and pandan sugar) - it is really refreshing especially to have in summer - and it's only $3.50! Will definitely come back again! For the kondro bakar of course!

By looks of it, the owner (and chef) of Manise Cafe has changed. Not sure since when coz we haven't gone back for ages. Been craving for Indonesian food, we decided to go to Manise since it's the closest and walkable. So we ordered Gado", Pempek, all time favourite Kondro Bakar and Cendol. Kondro Bakar was still good like how we remembered it. Unfortunately the others didn't meet our expectations. Pempek was wide but flat. There's no more clear noodle came with it. Gado2, presentation and taste wise, wasn't as good as other Indonesian restaurants. Cendol was a big let down. The green bits had no chewiness or whatsoever, as soon as you put in your mouth they burst and very floury. Left disappointed afterwards. Although the new owners were really friendly, I cant see myself going back again. Well, maybe.. If I had sudden crave for Kondro Bakar...
