Jun - Perth

Entering Jun is like stepping into an authentic Izakaya in Japan. I have been a loyal customer for as long as I can remember and each time I leave, I am delighted. The small business scene in Perth is lucky to have a gem like Jun.

Japanese food is amazing at the place. They also have some mouth smacking dishes. They have some amazing ambience and great staff too.amazing

This restaurant on Hay Street in the CBD is a hidden gem. The waitstaff are very friendly and polite. The highlight of the menu is the tasty spicy karaage. It is perfectly battered, with a hint of spice and not greasy at all. The portions are also very generous. If you decide to have lunch here, be prepared for a food coma afterwards.

The food was delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly. We were excited to see the famous high chairs in the entrance.

Tried the ramen which was one of the lunch specials at this place. Very tasty broth, had a nice spicy kick to it and the noodles were al dente. Portion size was slightly on the small side. Ramen came with salad and pickles which was a nice palate cleanser. Would like to return to try the dinner menu!
