Bidra med feedbackHad Christmas Dinner in the Hotels Conservetory yesterday with my wife. The setting is beautiful the Hotel very picturesque in the perth countryside. The food was deliciou, my turkey tasted superb and my wifes beef was cooked to perfection. The staff were very warm and despite working on Christmas day were so genuine and kind. Id recommend this Hotel and will visit again.
Arranged with reception that we would have 2 guest with us for breakfast and would pay at check out, breakfast was being served and a waitress said u have extra breakfast to pay and staytet price in front of our guests very embarrassing to see the least, won't be back
The hotel was adequate, so no complaints there. Somewhat odd location and tricky to get into and out of. Current road closure impacts navigation. Ordered the short ribs and was frankly shocked by the appearance and its taste not much better. Maybe it's a Scottish thing but I recommend not ordering it. Waldorf salad was bizarre too. Chef should Youtube both dishes and learn what customers might expect. Cannot recommend the food here.
We really enjoyed our one night stay here. We felt the staff were really helpful and nice. We must mention Rene who took the time to chat to us while we were having a drink in the bar and she gave us advice on several walks in the area we did them and cafes. She was very knowledgable about the area and we appreciated her advice. The hotel is genuinely very dog friendly. Our dog was given a couple of sausages at breakfast time which was a nice touch. There are nice walks all around the hotel and the outside areas are beautiful but as the weather was poor we couldn’t use them. I would easily recommend this hotel. Great value for money
Went here for lunch, first time for about 3 years, it’s our local restaurant and we used to frequent it pre covid. The hotel is losing its neat and tidy boutique appeal, it’s looking a bit “tired” badly needs freshened up in places. However we were there for lunch, that was more disappointing, the menu was very limited, and the food on offer typically pub grub, but at boutique hotel prices! I had the chicken dish it was cooked in breadcrumbs the chicken was at best ok, the salad accompanying it was a handful of lettuce, with nothing added, no tomatoes, no peppers, no dressing, nothing to inspire it and make it appealing. The server asked me, as they do, how was your meal? I told her the chicken was ok but the salad was bland and lacked imagination, she told me that they’re struggling for staff but would pass my comments on to the chef. On a more positive note, the dessert was good, it’s just a pity Brake Brothers don’t do salads as well
