Tacos El Tren - Perry

Mexican is my favorite food. And I’ve eaten at dozens of Mexican restaurants. I went here today and got a chorizo burrito and it was so good. It had cilantro in it. That may not seem like a big deal , but it’s actually not that common. And stuff like that makes a big difference. It was super fresh tasting. It wasn’t heavy... like a burrito can be. You could tell the meat had just been cooked. It wasn’t sitting in a crock pot or anything like that. The tortilla was great. 5 stars all day. Great fresh Mexican food.

First of all, they have moved across the street, they are in the same building as the ice cream store. (They are connected) and share a bathroom. Menu looks to be a little expanded from across the street. Had an asada torta with avocado. Good bread, steak was plentiful. served with grilled onions and grilled jallapeno on the side.

Some of the best food in town! You can never go wrong with a handful of tacos and a bottled Coke!

Best food in town! Great people, great service. Great price for what you get. I'd recommend this over the taco truck to anyone, any day of the week.

Some of the best Mexican street tacos I’ve ever had. Best tongue and chorizo hands down. I don’t live anywhere near Perry, IA but I will be back for El Tren
