Bidra med feedbackWow! We've just finished our nice dinner to take away. What a great experience. We started with the mixed plate; the Samosas are the best on the coast by far. Then we devour in the Chicken Korma and Hyderabadi Bhoona Ghost; both beautiful! My partner says it's "so good, it's criminal and up on the upper meals to peregian'. The best secret in Peregian. Do yourself a favor, go and order!
Our group had a fantastic evening at this small restaurant where we ordered in advance. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed delicious food. The intimate setting and outdoor seating were a plus. Just a reminder, it is BYO.
What a disappointing evening. Only customers in the restaurant so obviously there was no atmosphere. But the decor is bleak and the staff is bad. After our order, the waitresses were only in the restaurant when they brought our food. Otherwise the place was left. We even had to choose the staff to pay the bill and could have just left without paying! We asked for clean record cutlery after our starters, but it was only with reluctance that this was done. Food was enough, but considering that we were the only table in the restaurant, the service was slow to say the least. It seemed that take-away customers took precedence. Fortunately, we are only visitors to the area so that not return or recommend this restaurant. We find all previous comments on their website somewhat surprising!
The restaurant is small and inspiring, so we have a takeaway as there are many veggie options for me. Minimum waiting time and the food was rich (many ghee) and tasty, but the sauces were thinner than you would expect.
We got take away from here. The curries were gluten free but were all a bit too creamy and did not have the punch or flavour we were expecting. Rice is complementary with take away which is good. Not the best Indian we've had but...not terrible either.
