Bidra med feedbackAuthentic experience, nicest staff we met on our trip (now 6 days in), they didn't have the fish so we took grilled chicken, which had best price-quality. We paid €25 for 2 people, had some bread and olives to start with, grilled chicken with fries and tomato, chocolate mouse and pudding with caramel, plus plenty of wine. Would totally recommend if you're a person who doesn't need a Michelin star and can appreciate the local culture.
Lugar muito agradável para comer quando estiver hospedado em Pera. Excelentes refeições caseiras por uma família local amigável.
Menu pedido do dia Entrecosta, favas, bacon, carne de porco Vinho verde Café Estava uma delícia
Very nice place to eat when staying in Pera. Great home cooked meals by friendly local family.
My partner and I had an evening meal here with our 1yr old. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We sat outside and the smell of the grill going was amazing. We both had steaks costing around €10-11 and had we paid for these in England the price would have easily been triple. The food was fantastic with generous portions. We had chocolate mousse for desert which also tasted great. We'll definitely be returning. We did notice there was a sign in the window saying closed Saturday for staff day. I assume this meant every Saturday as it was closed the previous Saturday when we tried turned up.The is pool/snooker hall next door with table football if you're looking for something to do before or after.
