Wayne Freda - Penticton

Been here a few times during a trip to Penticton. We really enjoyed the coffees (flat white) and the raspberry muffin was delicious! We had breakfast here one morning too (spring toast salmon toast) which was tasty as well! It’s a busy cafe though so it can be quite a challenge to find seatings

Nice little “ trendy “place. I waited in the big line up. I ordered the smoked salmon toast with extra egg and the blueberry dream smoothie and also a gluten-free apple ginger muffin……the prices are a little bit more than announced on their website…. one dollar more for the toast and .95 more for the smoothie ….the smoked salmon toast has a good presentation and the taste was OK ….however the blueberry dream smoothie tasted a little bit like peanut butter and not much for the rest……the muffin had no pieces of Apple inside only a couple of slices on top and mostly tasted like ginger…..overall for a price of 30…..will not be coming back. I waited quite a while for the toast to be ready…. I took my order to go as most tables with shade well all taken , there was only a few tables left in the sun….

Wayne and Freda is my favourite cafe in Pen! The breakfast sammy is so good. It’s expensive, but good. I love all the merch they have too. The line is usually long, but the service is quick. Lots of seating.

Awesome food and smoothies! Beef short rib sandwich is rich with flavour but at the same time the taste is really organic. The beef itself is really tender and melts in your mouth. Highly recommend! Dog friendly is a plus!

Amazing open space design and creative tasty food! The staffs here are friendly and easy going, love it! Ordered winter toast and salmon toast, it is really fresh and healthy. The salmon toast is more tasty as a person loves strong flavored food. We ordered a fried egg (inspired by some google review), emmm, it taste like a normal fried egg...lol. When I read the story behind this place on their website, it is very touching. Those little highlights made my day in the 2 days trip at Penticton. Overall we had a great time here, will be back again if we passing by on the next trip!
