Bidra med feedbackThis is a great place for live music in penticton. we have seen many more great artists like oscar lopez and sue foley and much more. the prices are very cheap for showtickets and we always buy the wings seats. drinks and eating. very good and also very reasonable. If you want to listen to a great live music in an intimate and funky environment, then they come to the dream cafe.
We had brunch for 4, two fritata’s, 1 traditional waffel and a burrito, all good witnesses, love the free entertainment this morning.
We wanted to see michael kaeshammer. he didn't disappoint it, an amazing talent. that was our first time at this place. It is a great place to be close and personal with very talented musicians. once we find that our. entry price did not include our meal (as we thought our $75/pp price included a meal) we could enjoy our evening. the food was cheap and had a good choice.
The small tellers were all delicious and we enjoy tastes. we had eight plates for four of us who were perfect. the live music, tillers folly were excellent. funky decor. the seat was perfect. good work.
We were treated to a Sunday dinner at the Dream Cafe with an excellent show, the opening set was an accordionist/singer and the second, a band or 5 musicians including a lead singer. The cafe was absolutely packed which speaks well for both the music...and the food. They have a roster of folk, blues, rock, jazz, world, spoken word and everything in between for entertainment. One of the goals of this venue is to promote home grown music. What we saw was tremendous reminding me of the days when Vancouver had hot, world class musicians in their coffee houses and night clubs (Jose Feliciano, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee) who went on to great careers. The food is natural, fresh, heartwarming. I had ribs which were OK but a bit dry; My partner had braised beef with a superb pan gravy. The house wine was good. For my budget, it was a bit pricey, but worth every penny.
