The Simple Greek - Pensacola

Delicious Greek cuisine with a lot of fresh ingredients. it is a bit expensive and the dining room is small, but it is worth eating. everything is clean and fresh with a lot of taste. the Greek friends are so addictive.

We each order a bowl: I go for the lentil bowl, which is vegetarian, while my partner opts for the lamb, steak, and chicken bowl (steak is his favorite). What's great is that the bowls come with unlimited toppings (without meat) that really enhance the overall flavor. When ordering a bowl, you start off by choosing between white or brown rice. Then you select your meat, followed by a decision on whether to include green beans. Next, you pick your pita (white or whole wheat), and finally, you choose your sauce (options include tzatziki, regular hummus, or hot hummus). A nice perk is that you can order more than one sauce at no extra cost. For sides, you can't go wrong with the Greek fries or the spanakopita, which is made earlier in the day and kept warm in a glass container—it’s still delicious, and I highly recommend it. For dessert, the baklava is sweet and delightful. Some people rave about the cheesecake, but my partner and I prefer the classic baklava. TSG also offers a rewards system, giving customers free items based on points that you accumulate by entering your phone number. I also ordered a lentil bowl with steak and hummus, similar to the chicken bowl, to take home for later (see picture). The prices were reasonable too, just a few dollars more than other “bowl” type meals. With water, my total came in under $10. Wow, great food at an excellent price! I will definitely be returning!

The dining experience is fantastic! The flavors are exceptional, with a wide variety of options that are really satisfying. I visited two weeks ago, and both the staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. It’s clear that the restaurant is still new, and the team behind the counter is still getting the hang of things, but I have complete confidence that they will establish a smooth routine quickly. I highly recommend this place!
