Bidra med feedbackFor the first time, I made a self-service restaurant. And this experience was just fine. The food was delicious and tasteful(I had cinnamon and powder sugar Belgium and a bacon omelet) My only true complaint is that there is so much food, and coffee is regular Diner Coffee p.s Gouda in Grotten is a great idea
A self serve breakfast restaurant. Order and pay at the counter and your food is brought to you. You get your drink, condiments and cutlery on your own after you've placed your order. The food that I tried was good. You can run up quite the bill pretty quickly. There is a lot to try. The restaurant was clean. The omlete I got looked fantastic. I would come back and try other things. Worth a visit and comes without the fuss of a full service restaurant.
This was our second time coming to Egg Wits and they have yet to disappoint with the food. It’s fresh and very flavorful. It come out hot and fairly quickly. There are a few gripes that sort of set me uneasy. First is there silverware setup. It’s a help yourself kinda set up. You get your own forks and spoons, so you don’t know who put their boogie or dookie fingers all over them. Second isn’t bad but the benches are not very comfortable and some are broken.
First, it is pretty pricey. Ordered breakfast for 5 and two were basic plain Jane for little kids. The total price was over $77. They do offer a military discount so there is that. Secondly, the food was not great. For the price I was thinking my breakfast socks were about to be knocked off. The cinnamon rolls were good, but overly sweet. One bite and we were done with them. The potatoes have like a sour cream and onion flavor to them, but they're not cooked long enough. My son complained about the burrito because it was loaded with more spinach than anything else. My daughter's waffle was hard and hurt her mouth with every bite and the syrup was watery and had a funny taste to it. Maybe thats fancy syrup and we aren't used to the flavor, but it was weird. My French toast was amazing except for the syrup part. We were really excited about this adventure, but extremely disappointed by it.
Let me start first by saying that the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. That means how things work is a little unorthodox. Order and pay at the counter, but they bring your food to you. All ingredients and utensils are located in a service station together with water and coffee. As my second trip I knew how things worked that made it much easier. This place still works a few small bends, but I think the waiting time has improved. So if you were here and liked the food, but thought other things needed attention, try it again, I think you will enjoy it. If you haven't been here yet, you'll have to see.
