Waited 40 minutes for cold food. Waitress Tasha never came by table to explain long wait. There were other waitresses checking on their tables but not her. She didn't even ask if we needed another drink. She seemed too be a sweet girl that hasn't been trained properly. I don't know who to blame for cold food. I've heard great reviews about this place but I didnt see why tonight. I probably will not return.

Worst experience by far. When a woman entered the phone. I waited for her to finish the call that took a few minutes. She told me that soon someone would sit. The Hostess/Witress went to us, looked right at my service dog?? and went through the restaurant far away from all others. Back where no other customers were. The waitress said we had to sit there for my dog. I let them know that he was a trained service dog and we will be sitting close to the public. She insisted that we sit far away from other people because she didn't want my dog to bother others. I let them know he was a trained service dog. He's just under the table and normally nobody knows he's here until I go. She insisted that we sit on the back. She came after our order and when she brought out the food she asked, she must bring water to the dog. I'll let them know that a service dog doesn't eat or drink in any blow. It took forever to get our ticket when we were done and we finally went forward to pay because the waitress never returned to the table. And there were literally 8 people with 3 servers throughout the restaurant?. The waitress shoved the ticket with us and went away and never back, that I was on her check-out because they refused to help us. We will not return to David's Wels on the new Warrington Street. ? rude server, discriminatory of disabled, and the food was not so big.

Had the $5.00 lunch basket special that ends 8/16 and it was great. Fish basket, popcorn shrimp basket and roasted green tomatoes. I would like to have green onions in my hush puppies, but still cudos to the cook. Our server Maddy was excellent. Thank you for the amazing food and great service.

The food was amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection. My shrimp and fish came to the table golden and the cheese grits were extremely tasty.
