Lowther Castle Cafe - Penrith

Superb adventure playground. simple parking space. beautiful building. good caffe with friendly staff. gardens are still a little work in the course, but nice to come. beautiful.

Wow this place is truly amazing! Perfect location for families. Get your self a picnic made up and spend the day with lots of exploring of the beautiful grounds. The kids lost castle park is worth the extra fee alone. It is huge! The kids will never get bored as there is so much to chose from, it is perfect.

Great place for the whole family. The baby zipwire is a must if you have small kids (my 1yo loved it), and the adventure playground is great for bigger kids. The castle was great too, and the cafe served a good range of food for all the family.

I absolutely love this place! The children's playground is one of the best I've seen. Although it's quite a long walk to get here, it's worth it. The surroundings are a bit of a work in progress, but there's so much beauty to enjoy. I would definitely come back!

Beautiful gardens and interesting history. The ruins are in fantastic condition too. Only £12 for the day it's definitely worth it.
