Zhen's Jade Garden - Pendleton

I ordered 2 meals to go, they took over an hour to get here, so by the time we got to eat the food its either too tried out to eat or too soggy and nasty to eat. When I called to ask for my money back the lady was extremely rude and said since I had touched the food she wouldn't give me a refund. I suggest no one eats here ever! Nasty food, terrible service and way over priced! I should have gone to golden fountain like I originally wanted too.

I don't know why this place is so underestimated. The service was just on the slow side because they had only one server at the time. But this is a family business (a small boy made his piano lessons with a keyboard and headphones in a stand in the back), so they probably have a limited work pool. The food was great! I had the Happy Family, the beef, chicken and small scallops. I'd like the scallops to be bigger, but it was very delicious. The soda was served in closed doses so that refills here are not something (at least if you order a diet Pepsi). The server spoke English well enough and was all smiles (under her mask). Even though she was the only one on the ground, she still found time for 4 table covers during our visit. My Gf had the sweet and acidic chicken pork comb. It was quite standard, and the sauce was the standard pink sweet and sour that most Chinese places have. It was good, nothing special, but exactly what it says on the can. the eggplant soup was fine, but it had some vegetables in it, which is simply not my preference. The hot and acid soup was really good, and not the kind that is so spicy that you need to love spicy foods to eat it. A great taste and just a little kick. All in all, I was very happy with the food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Chinese place that lets you dip. The prices were equally reasonable.
