Brilliant ! Lots of squirrels to keep the dog engrossed...

My childhood home from home. Wintertime health wander. Seems to be showing age, or is the empty winter too cruel. Duck pond improved with the advice not to use bread. Cafe not open on my visit, it does serve excellent ethnic, we had Persian food.

We visited the park on a dull day. The lake was full of ducks, Canada geese, a few moorhens, and seagulls. They have a safe island in the middle of the lake, which I like. There weren't many other people there when we were, because of the weather I suppose. Its possible to have a good walk around the lake, there is a tarmacadam path, also there's a tunnel which goes under the road to the other side. On a summers day it would be possible to spend time here in lovely surroundings.

The park is well-maintained with game fields suitable for all ages. It offers beautiful walking paths with abundant wildlife and plenty of opportunities to relax, feed animals, and enjoy a meal at the cafe.

This is a lovely spot for biking with children. The park is adorned with beautiful flowers and features a fascinating wooden statue. Visitors can also admire the architectural beauty of structures like the 1914 bridge. Kids will have the chance to see some animals in the park, so be sure to bring some snacks to feed them. A visit here is sure to be enjoyed by all.
