Bidra med feedbackIf they long for authentic Indian style banana leaf rice, they must go to little india in georgetown, penang. andrew and I decided to 'subham banana leaf ' restaurant, and young, we have not regretted it the least. the food was top notch. we had to go for 2 3 refills of food. they can see how intentionally andrew is in his gustatory experience through the pictures. the selection of the vegetables was tasty, colourful and appetizing both for eye and eye. especially I loved the bitter gourd pickle spicy and rich, complemented the sambar and rasem served. we tried the 'mint chicken' that was a first time for me, and the 'masala mutton'. I loved the seasoned until the end. it was a satisfying culinary experience. the chef is friendly and offers service with a smile. I will certainly return here, with michelle this time round to have them this amazing experience in little india. tipp: if they eat banana leaf, they simply eat with their hands that gives them the best experience ever!
Very sharp and hot! good place to eat, many customers, very friendly and fast service!
Best vadai I had it ever. better tomorrow when it's fresh out of the frit. with a crispy crust and a melt-in-the-mouth filling.
The food was Fabulous and wonderful, A must try Banana leaf food in City !! from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special Chicken marinated, the Vegetables fried which infused with spices and the service from the waiter was great.
Good place to have indian foods. The staffs are friendly and helpful but some looks aloof and playful. The roti canai here tastes much better compared to other similar places in little india. The place is quite humid and feels warm, even at night. Parking is almost impossible to get, so come by grab or park some where far.
