Big praise to the family guilt and the Hooger ferry what would be Pellworm without you. We come to Pellworm every year and are always guests in the Hooger ferry. All the year we were allowed to enjoy an upscale very tasty kitchen and this in a very beautiful ambience. From the hospitality and the warm heart of the host, even in the cloudy autumn, we are always at once again. There are five stars to be forgiven. We can't wait until we get back to the Hooger ferry. Until then all love.

We're still on Pellworm. We usually eat at home for different reasons. But sometimes in the inns here on the island. I know myself here, and I know that hardly anyone here can take the water from the bread. In addition, the three best ones are here, in the neighborhood of our quarters. So now there is the third in our visits, the Hooger ferry. In my eyes the best of the island. Maybe that I'm a little bit impartial, but I've been reconfirmed by the others. Nevertheless, I must say that all this is of course only my subjective opinion. But after the 60 weeks I've spent here over the years, I already know what I'm saying. At Kirsten in the Hooger ferry you will be treated as a guest and not prepared as a eater. She is friendly and helpful to everyone. The house itself has parking lots and is barrier-free. All tables are covered with fabric table cloths and are also refreshed at once. The obligate dead light including a small bouquet of fresh flowers and the salt and pepper shakers radiate a certain cosiness without the charm of “original”. No, everything looks very well. You can feel comfortable. Since Kirsten serves alone, every hectic is missing and you feel comfortable. The menu is normal. Although, in my particular case of longer than normal extended stay, it is somewhat difficult to find whatever. But the normal leaver gets fat. Two daily dishes are always offered separately when the menu is over. But now one of our last visits. Beer at 0.4 l 3,30€ 0,25 l Sylvaner 5,50€ Our order. Smash pan at 14,50€ served in a small black pan. Three medallions. Delicate and rusty inside. Bratkartoffeln (here in the north mostly, because this can be the same) white-cold vegetables and sauce. Sufficient quantity. Muckelchen blew everything. Day dish Schnitzel with Mediterranean lining and baked with cheese. Bread potatoes. Also 14,50€ Now I have to say I'm absolutely no carving friend. (unless it's a real one) But this one was the best I've ever eaten. Actually, there were two pieces. Thin, buttery, slightly crispy fried, the cheese in the right amount. I was thrilled. Not these miserable dry cardboard pieces with pulling cheese that could spoil any, but also really any appetite. No, I really ate here with pleasure. Also think that was not a steaker at work, because the fat was not absorbed. So if you're good, that's also worth a hair spirit. Burning, without obligatory spell, at 3,00€ the piece. And because we felt so comfortable, a Pharisee gave us the rest. He came to 3,60€ It was a nice evening again. We felt comfortable. Only to recommend when they go to eat and do not want to be fed. The best fish restaurant on the island. Whoever loves fish is definitely not disappointed here – here is a professional cook at the work that understands his craft. The ambience outside overlooking the Old Church and inside are very well maintained.
