Ihop - Pelham

When we arrived (approx. 10:15) we stood at the reception for a few minutes until the manager HAD broke up a conversation that had three servers to put us. We ordered, everything seemed fine. The waitress was nice. She didn't seem to know about the menu items, but everything was fine. While we eat (which bothered me most) we notice a specific waitress with long hair to the prep table. There was a round plastic bowl with a tip on it. She'd pick up the tip, put her hands in, pick up something and eat. This happened practically every time she went into and out of the kitchen area. Question: Is this the same article that is used in preparing MY meal? AND What did she all touch before she put her hands in this container? Apart from these two points, and the fact that all work there (that I saw) was Hispanic, the music was Hispanic, and the staff spoke together in Spanish food was good. Although I didn't go to a Mexican restaurant, it was the INTERNATIONAL house of pancakes.

This is the BEST IHOP of my family. There were 1 lady who worked as a waitress and cashier for the entire restaurant. I was mentally ready to ask for refills, and wait long, but the experience was the complete opposite. Judy was fast, efficient and despite a great order, our whole food was perfect and perfect. We never had to ask for something because she expected our needs. The cook was obviously dedicated because the food looked like the advertisement. Take extra advice because this waitress is one of the best I've seen.

There was lobby full of customers either waiting for a table or food, but when I came to the staff and rolled their eyes on me, gave no recognition as good morning, I waited about 3 to 5 minutes to come and talk to me and gave me a table, but nothing like that ever happened, so I went away. Awful service, especially customer service. There are many tables available

Ok, so, it's been a while since I've been to IHOP. Never to this location. They should be the training location! We had about a 15 min wait, but, it was 1030am on a November Saturday. Once we got seated, Daniela promptly arrived took our order. Stunningly beautiful, polite, got our order perfect. And, was ready for refills on drinks like it was not crazy busy in there (which it totally was). Food was just as pretty as the commercials, SUPER tasty! If this is Pelham IHOP norm, we'll be back way more often! Thank you, IHOP employees for all that you do! You don't get enough recognition! Y'all ROCK!

This has got to be the best ihop near birmingham. The one in hoover and Homewood are horrible. This one was my favorite!! We were seated less than 2 min upon entering and the waitress was also very nice and attentive!
