Bidra med feedbackI went to this place once and the food was great. We returned today and sadly there was sign posted in the window that they have permanently closed. They will be missed.
We went for lunch today 5/14/22. There is a sign in the door saying that the restaurant is permanently closed.
This is my second visit in a week. It is an unassuming little corner spot in a often overlooked strip with a Mexican grocery, Italian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. Do yourself a favor and find it. It is definitely NOT a typical Tex-Mex. No watery salsa, no rice and beans. Although, they do serve tortilla chips with either a refried or black bean dip. I had the Enchiladas Callejeras, a tortilla stuffed with chicken, topped with delicious red pepper salsa, escabeche, sour cream and cheese. Comes with an Ensalada de Fresas (strawberry salad). All for $12! If you are near Pelham, you have to check this gem out!
The food is just as delicious as it is beautiful!! Amazing. Will be thinking about this meal for a long time and will definitely be making a return visit.
Absolutely amazing! The decor an tableware were so whimsical and homey with the essence of Frida surrounding you. I’m so happy Pelham has gained another amazing restaurant with great prices. My husband and I can’t wait for them to get their liquor license! Our only complaint is the small sign outside of the location. I had no idea they were in the Mi Pueblo plaza, we pass by the time. Frida Kahlo has definitely gained regular customers!!
