Bidra med feedbackClean and hip place, great for a dessert visit after dinner (see my MOD Pizza review). Many flavors that change with season though low sugar option really doesn't have much variety (reasonforlower star rating). Kids love it which is main reason we would go.
Great choices. Even have sorbet. Upbeat music. 2016 review. Update: prices have soared here. 2019...2 sundaes now cost $18!
When I first came here a year ago, the yogurt was creamy and silky smooth; nowadays the yogurt is always icy. I kept asking the staff as to why the yogurt is icy nowadays and I was met with defensiveness and aggression by what I assumed was the owners' daughter. Fast forward to a few months later and the icy quality has not changed. Way too overpriced for the poor quality of yogurt that you get. $0.59 per ounce is already steep as it is. It used to be $0.49 when I first started coming to this location.
Staff and yogurt were nice but not a lot of flavors in my opinion. There's about 8 flavors of yogurt, not enough of fresh fruit toppings but a lot of candy toppings. The price was unbelievable. Spent $27 for 2 (about 33 oz of yogurt and a waffle cup). I'll come back, but not in the near future
I spotted visible baby cockroaches crawling on one of the yogurt machines I wanted to use (and I regret not taking photos for proof because I was just so shocked to see that). I reported what I saw to the guy at the counter, but shortly after he went to check, someone else came up to buy a cup. I thought I could overlook it (a poor decision on my part) and decided to get some soft-serve yogurt anyway. Now, I can't get that disturbing sight out of my mind, and that yogurt ended up in the trash. Having worked at Sonic in my teens, I remember that we had to clean the machines every night with a special solution and run hot water through the nozzles. Menchie’s needs to implement those practices as well. It's surprising they have an "A" health inspection rating. Disgusting! They really need to get their staff in line!
