Pizza City - Pearl River

This is by far the best pizza place in Rockland County. The owner Liz was such a good friend, big boss and fantastic role model when it comes to work ethics. When I'm at a job, I'm often on my work ethics because I never subscribe to it not my job bull being $hit mentality. If there is work, do it because you are part of the team. I'm proud of my work ethics, but it's all about learning Liz. This woman is one of my heroes. In addition, supporting a great person, the food is delicious. I'm not coming back to Pearl River, but every year or so today with the pandemic, but you can bet your last dollar the next time I'm up there I'm gonna keep up for some great food and again with the best boss I've ever had.

This place not only has delicious pizza, but is a CLASS ACT!!! I called to order a cake for a child of a friend who just returned from the hospital. This kid wanted a pizzeria when he got out, so I ordered a surprise. To be as annoying as possible and make one step further, I asked if they could shape it as a heart. The woman I spoke to (I didn't catch her name, didn't **** an eye after she told me they don't take credit cards over the phone, but that I can pay (or not! Whenever I get the chance. She was so touched by this story and insisted life is too short and that is more important than getting the money! OMG! I seriously torn and thanked her immensely, assure her she'll get the money from me tomorrow, or I think a family member in the neighborhood will stop. This act of kindness will remain with me for a very long time. That, coupled with the DELICIOUS Pizza, is the reason why I am Pizza City every time I am in town!!! I'm sure I'm going to pay it forward! Thanks Pizza City! X
