Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Was in the dining room about an hour before closing. Of the twenty tables 11 had customers seated at. The remaining table had not been bussed. It not very pleasant to eat in a room filled with dirty tables. When the hostess approached us for a table, she said I 'm going to try to find you a clean table Again not very conducive to a pleasant meal setting. NO ONE was moving with ANY speed or visible purpose. After we were sat at the table it was over 20 minutes before we were approached by anyone including the wait staff. The floor was very dirty, littered with food and bits of paper napkins. We won 't be returning to this restaurant. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20

Hiring manager incompetent or vindictive. Proceeded to interview me asked if I would go out of way to help others on team I replied I would go out of my way if free (no pressing matter) in certain circumstances. Proceeded to inform me I was not fit for job because of response without considering context and recalling my answer incorrectly (which he denied). Not my first job in restaurant industry, nobody wants a coworker who constantly butts in and potentially slows down their productivity, unfortunately don't think hiring manager has real experience working on the floor or with other members of team so be wary when answering hiring managers questions. African American, bald, on the bigger side with glasses. Of course this was after waiting 20 minutes while it was slow and being seated right next to customers for the interview. Service: 1

Very disappointed in the food quality at this location. Food served lukewarm at best. Just poor tasting all around on two dinners we ordered. Very good server and service. But that's all.
