Bidra med feedbackWhenever my husband worked near Peabody, he used to have lunch at this place. He was always satisfied with his meals here, and this was my first visit. The interior was very clean, and the tables and utensils were spotless. I thought the place had only been open for a few months, but surprisingly, it has been open since 2016. The clean interior made for a pleasant dining experience. I ordered Korean-style pork rice bowl, bibimbap, and tteokbokki. Although I thought the portions would be too much and we would end up leaving some food, we ended up finishing everything because it was so delicious. I highly recommend adding cheese and fish cakes to the tteokbokki!!! It's incredibly tasty! I live in near downtown Boston, but if I get the chance, I will definitely visit this place again. I would love to eat their food every day! Highly recommended :
Honestly best food. Love coming here for the food and dont mind spending the money. But the woman that serves there is not nice at all. Everyone can tell shes never in a good mood. Honestly have put up with it because i really enjoy the food. I seen other people feel uncomfortable because of service. But the last straw was when i went with my family(2 adults 1 child), on a rainy day. Got there right at 2 and said we couldn’t eat there because they take lunch at 2:50. We literally had 50 min to eat. We even said we could eat fast. There was literally no one else in there. I dont get how they want to stay in business with that kind of service. Please change the hours or something because its inconvenient. I always take a 20 min drive to get there. And i did put low stars because they have no way of contacting anyone on their website because i would have rather spoken to a manager or owner first but this is the only way this message can get across i guess. Edit: For management as i finished the review, i saw the host lock the door right at 2:22pm. I would think that isn’t good for business.
Very very poor customer service, the girl at the front desk yelled at us because was a miscommunication about the time they take a break. We went there at 2pm, food ready at 2:20pm. She dropped the food in a bag in front of us at our table and said you guys have to leave because it’s to go. I was like what? We ordered to eat here, this doesn’t make sense. End of the history she brought the chef out to say what is the problem like ready to fight, at this point we were like what is going on, we just want to eat and go. In the meantime she was still yelling at us so I have to request the refund and had leave because her attitude was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone. Also I request to use the restroom to wash my hands and she was like to have to go around the building and go to the back door because the restroom is in the kitchen. Omg terrible.
They didn’t even try to make the spicy chicken good. Wasn’t typical Korean double fry crispy. Seems like they took processed chicken nuggets and put sauce on them. The lady wasn’t rude, but she also wasn’t very inviting.
My partner and I have been here several times because K Restaurant never disappoints! I’m a Korean from NJ and have been looking for solid Korean food in the North Shore, and this place has been my favorite. Some of our favorites are the tteokbokki, sweet and spicy fried chicken appetizer, and silken tofu stew (soondooboo). I wish I had more photos because we’ve tried so many of their dishes, and they’ve all been great.
