Ayothaya Thai Cafe - Payson

My wife and I ordered to leave this place. It was fantastic! Absolutely amazing food! Very generous portion sizes and each dish was as amazingly filled with taste! We highly recommend.

This restaurant was very accommodating, I called in and had our food prepared for us since we were short on time and they had it ready and waiting, they were very helpful. We ordered the green curry and I think it could’ve use some coconut cream. Also the pad Thai and the eggplant with pork were great, and the Thai iced tea was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. This is the second time we’ve come to this restaurant when visiting in Payson.

Ayothaya has great Thai food. I've tried dishes other than the traditional Pad Thai, but keep going back to that. It is excellent. It is not inexpensive, but the portions are very large leaving enough to take home for a second meal.

This place is pretty decent and one of the few options for Thai food in the area. If you're in the mood for Thai cuisine, I would definitely recommend trying it out. The flavors were good, but some ingredients were not well-balanced. For instance, the basil Thai fried rice seemed to lack both rice and basil, and was surprisingly overloaded with paprika. Additionally, I found the prices to be a bit high, especially for the appetizer we ordered, the Curry Puffs, which were not authentically made and had a small portion. On a positive note, I appreciated having hot sauce available at the table. Overall, I would suggest going here if you're specifically looking for Thai food.
