Scuderie Del Borgo - Pavie

A real discovery! I was here with some friends for a quick dinner on a Thursday evening and we were thrilled with both the quality of the dishes and the kindness of the staff. Located just outside the historic center of Pavia, this tavern welcomes you with a stocked counter of cured meats, cheeses and other specialities, there are delicacies of all kinds and you can literally taste a bit of everything, just order it! We therefore tried a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses, homemade meatballs with zola cream and, finally, I had the pleasure of eating the best gorgonzola of my life, a spectacle. We then continued the dinner with Fassona tartare, highly recommended, octopus and braised meat, all delicious. Everything was accompanied with some great Bonarda from Oltre Po.
