The Terrace At The Langham, Pasadena

Eating is delicious. nothing unusual, but well made classic. and the server was super attentive.

That was a very sad experience. the langham pasadena is a historical, luxurious property, but our experience was far from it. while eating is great and the location with views of the pool and the famous bridge is beautiful, the service is appalling. our server never smiled and rarely came at the table. his first words were: do you know what you want? we sat on the terrace and it felt like outside diners were an inconvenience for the staff. we got the wrong starter and the food runner called us out and began to accuse the server. more time spent trying to find out who is guilty than simply solving the problem. I had finished my suppe before the rest got the right Brussel salad. Of course we were also charged for the wrong starter we did not accept. the filling of the table was slow. in the did, our eating service over 2 hours, we left after the solution and payment of the bill and there was still dirty plate of midday and gloomy on the table. When we get out when we get our car from valet, the type of our keys has passed us and said, their car is over there and pointed. he saw $5 in my hand, which should be a tipp and then said well that it wanted I said no at this point and he was irritated that he didn't get a tip to throw me car keys. I should mention that my mother has difficulty footing, there were no other guests in valet and their kennzeichen obviously have wheelchair license plates. a great disappointment.

We celebrated our 20-year anniversary; in that we were married there, although I let them know in the reservation, not a mention or special effort was made. we were charged extra for something that should be included, and had to ask several times for things. our hospitable egg over hard, and they came runny. the environment is nevertheless beautiful, but do not expect the best service in this restaurant.

My complaint is that OpenTable only gave me ONE choice:10:45. Yet the restaurant was 2/3 empty. The hostess said there were PLENTY of available seating for lunch and beyond. What gives? Need to get on the same page if your goal is to help fill the restaurant.
