Urbane Cafe - Pasadena

This spot in Pasadena is a MUST!!! The restaurant was clean, food was served super fast and was delicious, the cashier and the server provided AMAZING customer service very kind and friendly which made us feel very WELCOMED! I had not visited a restaurant with all of these important details in YEARS!!!! One small detail that I wish they had is a house coffee to perfect their business, I think coffee is essential in these kind of restaurants other than that 1000 out of 10!!!

We found another healthy eating choice in the urban café in Pasadena. The atmosphere is chilled, laid back, and casual—plenty of areas to sit hi-boys, Booths, and outdoor seating on Lake Avenue. The customer service is friendly and welcoming. The waiter brought our orders quickly and checked if we needed anything several times. I eventually asked for more of the sauce on my Ahi Tuna bowl and later for another piece of bread, and the same waiter brought it with a good attitude and a smile.While chatting up our waiter we discovered he was the manager, Ben. He told us Urbane Cafe is a family-run business with 31 locations. Our plates had a good presentation, tasted good, and were fresh. We deducted a few points because we are used to a higher grade ahi tuna. However, the tuna we had was perfectly seared. The manager brought us some free cookies because it’s their tradition for first-timers. Remember to tell them Omar sent you when you visit, and don’t forget to get your free cookies. Best food and kid’s pizza near the Huntington Library!

Fast casual on another level. Great spot! Tritip steak sandwich and ahi tuna bowl left me feeling good about the world. Bread reminded me to enjoy the simple things.
