The Counter - Pasadena

This is the place to go for customized make your own burgers in Pasadena . They also serve various appetizers, sandwiches, chilis and salads. We like to order the 50/50 appetizer with Parmesan fries and sweet potatoes. One can also order a protein over salad greens for a healthier meal. Love the mahi mahi salad and strawberry milkshake!

I love this place! We went on Thursday afternoon and the place was almost empty, so our order came so fast! Burguers are really tasty , We tried the counter and beef and blue burguers, both were amazing ! Also the loaded tots are good : we are definitely coming back!

Very disappointed today! This has always been one of my favorites but things have definitely gone down hill. We waited 45 minutes for our food today, and the place was practically empty. I had to go in and ask the bartender who was very sweet. The food finally came but was barely warm. I ordered medium well but my burger was more like medium rare. I asked if the bill might be adjusted. There were 3 of us. The manager took a beer off the tab. The last take out order I received wasn't that great either. Not going back. Sad.

I haven't had a decent meal in weeks, and man did this place hut the spot!!!. Shoutouts to the cook Abel, for cooking up that masterpiece, and also shoutouts to jocelyn,, for being kind, polite, and smiled and laughed. Rare these days to be human. Give these excellent people a raise and a promotion. Highly recommended, oh, and the Ale was cold and crisp and tasty. Respects.

One of the best place in lake avenue for customized burgers. You have pretty good options for vegan burger as well. Along with burgers you can enjoy salads, fries, beverages, refreshers, chilis and other cocktails. Good for brunch and dinner. Outdoor sitting available and view is good.
