Ruth's Chris Steak House - Pasadena

The food wasn't as good as in the past. Maybe less salt used or ?? The music was a bit annoying, too loud and odd mix. The server and other staff were fine and attentive enough. We're less inclined to come back. Higher prices and the taste wasn't as good.

We went for a birthday dinner. Service was excellent. For the first few minutes we were forgotten. Staff quickly recovered and apologized. Drinks were also slow in coming. Food was delivered hot to our table. The bread was hot but not flavorful. Steak was ok and lobster portions were small. It was not a memorable meal. Tab was almost 300 including tip. In a word, it was meh.

We've always enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here! Our recent visit revealed some missteps from our previous visits—the drinks are a 10 but this time an 8; steaks were missing some salt and cubed potatoes for potatoes su gratin?! Service was stellar from host to servers!

The staff top to bottom was amazing. Scott at the front desk was very understanding when we were delayed by traffic. Destiny, our server, was excellent as well as her supporting staff. And the food, of course, was delicious as usual!

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary there and it was perfect. The staff provided excellent service to ensure that our anniversary celebration was flawless. The personalized menu was a delightful touch. Our steaks were cooked exactly how we liked them. The flavors of every dish were delicious. And the personalized dessert was a sweet surprise. It was a delightful evening. We can't wait to go back.
