Bidra med feedbackThis sweet little Armenian café has savory and sweet treats. It is a sweet little cafe, order at the counter and sit outside and enjoy. Or you can take your choice home. I ordered to go one of the vegetarian beorags for the teachers of my son for the teacher evaluation week. You were a hit. The people who work here answer your questions if you are not very familiar with Armenian cuisine. The service I received was fast and friendly. The food is also very expensive. It cost $17 for 6 Beorags. A little more for the meats. Give this small family business an attempt!
This place is kind. It's rare that you find these big ones somewhere. It is family-run and very good quality. The Khachapuri is sooooooooooo excellent. Can't recommend this place enough. Sojouk and cheese sales and Lahmajune is also so good. Really, everything here is so good. Support these great people, they deserve it for every reason. One of the highest values you can get for food in the area. Definitely a favorite place of me. People sleep in this place I am surprised that more people do not know about it.
My first time tries Armenian/Georgian food and I am in love! This is a hidden gem that offers fresh and delicious food! You have an outdoor and indoor seat and a street parking lot in the front. If you order for dune, they will bring you the food in paperboard and bring out hot sauces. We have the Khachapuri, a sharp cheese beorag and a ham and cheese beorag. Your popular Khachapuri breakfast was absolutely delicious! This is a Georgian cheese bread and it was loaded with cheese curds and a runny egg. Your bread was so soft and fluffy and easy to eat, as you can rip off the bread crust and dip into the cheese. The spicy cheese Beorag is her Armenian stuffed pastry bread. I loved the herbal flavor of spices and it was not as spicy as I expected. The ham and cheese Beorag was also really good. I loved the kind of cheese they used and the amount of ham in bread. Overall, I love her bread and would highly recommend trying her Khachapuri breakfast article!
The old Sassoon bakery was my first experience with Armenian cuisine and I had the pleasure to go about a month ago. I enjoyed my overall experience and found the food to be delicious and very affordable. My friend and I ordered many things to taste, my favorite was the olive pastry. His favorite was the Khachapoori. The staff also gave us a sorted baklava on the house! I keep thinking of going back to this place when I'm in Pasadena and will go back sometime. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 5/5. I would recommend this bakery for a quick or more serious bite.
Superb freshly made seasoned pastries for decent price, that give you the vibe of Armenian neighbourhood, must visit while in the area
