Bidra med feedbackHad a great time here! One of our party has the cilantro soap gene and is vegan, and the staff was really great to ensure that it was able to enjoy the dishes. The food was delicious, definitely back in the future.
The Carnitas are so good and it was definitely a delicious experience. I had nothing like before, It was tasteful. I exchange the cauliflower with queso potatoes. My friend had the Tomahawk Steak and that was good!!! I think I like my carnitas better, even he agreed, but it was both a good court. There is no toughness to the Tomahawk-Steak and it was good for about two people. I would recommend getting a page. The guacamole with chips were really good and the chips taste fresh and they were warm. If you are looking for a non-alcoholic drink, I would recommend the watermelon Gurke Friesca. It was so good to finish dinner with surgeons or ice cream. The ice has no really churro, but there are bits that are mixed in ice cream itself. Our bill with three alcoholic drinks, tomahawk steak, guacamole, fresca drink, carnitas plate and ice cream churro dessert. Came out to be $200 without tip. I definitely come here as a treat. It was very good!
Nice Mexican restaurant with great ambience and service. Good selection of Vegan and Vegetarian options including Cauliflower tacos, Calabacitas, and Vegan rice, Guacamole and other dishes.
Fantastic drinks service. The food, while not authentic is very good. Everything tastes hand made, specially their tamale dough. Would absolutely recommend any of their weekly special cocktails.
Mercado Mexican Restaurant on South Lake in Pasadena offers a culinary experience from South of the Border. There is dine inside seating in an eclectic setting. Tables are roomy and the atmosphere is inviting. The outside patio is fun to dine in an open air atmosphere and people watch shoppers on South Lake. There is also outside seating in the Colonnade side, with tables along the outside wall of the restaurant. We heard their margaritas were a must try, however I did not come away that feeling. Last time I was here I had a Sangria that I enjoyed and our server offered us a Spicy Jalapeño Margarita which she stressed three times was spicy.. so we steered clear. Our table ordered the cauliflower appetizer, yummy, the chicken enchiladas in a chocolate ranchers sauce and the carnitas plate. All were delicious and I 'd enjoy again. Parking is limited on the street and you need to travel across the way for the public lot. 90 minutes FREE and $2 per hour thereafter.
