Bidra med feedbackAte there on a Friday night and was fantastic.. attentive service etc Ate next night as we are staying in hotel and not from Sydney and really disappointed Unfortunately the manager made all staff aware of a table of VIPs and bang there goes the service Shame that the whole area was customized to their wants including door left open service non existence and plates not being picked up until I requested Good hotel needing a manager that actually gives great customer service to all and not just a needy table of ex pat doctors?? Needing attention...
We were staying at the inn and loved at vibe and service. Staff were great and it's a awesome place for a beer. $12 lunches a must do given Sydney prices. Recommend highly.
After a long day, I thought an Irish pub would be good. Looking at the menu I should have left. Mentioning to the server I was vegetarian, but I eat fish too (pescatarian) received a grunt in reply. Choice was herb/garlic bread or Margherita pizza. For an Irish bar the atmosphere was harsh, and the bar was randomly staffed. Guinness was not visible on the bar, I think they had it in the gaming lounge.
Radically understaffed so dinner was a comedy of errors. It would have been easier to go into the kitchen and cook for ourselves. Eventually one poor young lady who looked run off her feet arrived. We ordered a starter to share and this turned up barely luke arm at the same time as the main course was brought so that got sent back. She then brought us back another starter after we had finished our main course that got sent back too. This is not the first time I have had this sort of experience here and it is got to the stage that the management (not the staff) is treating its customers with contempt. I wouldn 't work there in a month of Sundays!
Fancy new fitout, somewhat family friendly (can't imagine how this place was one of the most notorious in Sydney 30 years ago) and they had to insulate it and close it up to enable that. Cheaper than most pubs in Parramatta though, although more expensive than somewhere like Granville.
