Hong Fu - Parramatta

I sat here to eat! was so horrified of the service we emigrate! there was no room in the restaurant where everything was sawed! the personal was extremely rude service lasted very long!

The food comes out quickly. there are many things on the menu. it can be quite busy, but definitiw one of the better Chinese restaurants in parramatta.

Terrible service, we arrived in the midday and we are not allowed to sit in because we are two peoples who are late coming in served before us because they are peoples!

We arrived early to an almost empty restaurant for our pre booked table on the eve of the Chinese New Year. It's a byo so no problems there and almost immediately was served the traditional tea ,no problems so far.English is not the first language spoken here ,if at all by some of the staff so maybe some of our conversation was lost in translation .We ordered and was told there might be a delay on one dish but as the place was empty it shouldn't be a problem.One dish arrived and the place started to fill up,about another 8 groups were seated and with in 5 mins all had a first course,the second dish for one of our group arrived followed 10 mins later by the rice,by now 2 of the other groups had finished all their courses and had left I was still waiting !!! After several complaints and after all the party had finished mine arrived the rice bought previously was cold .we all agreed the dishes were not particularly tasty and the service was worse than bad,another downside was it was cash only which might explane the language problem.I would give this place a miss

Our second visit,booked for 8:30 pm.Resturant quite empty,service quick.Hugh selection of unusual dishes with a bias to pork and spicy.The dumplings were juicy and flavoursome.The fried pork and prawns to die for .Spicy eggplant,stir fried vegetables very moorish .Excellent hand made noodles as well .BYO .Prices very reasonable and offer outstanding value.Highly recommended especially for the adventurous wig pork bone and tripe on offer.Will go back.
