Matis Dinner Lounge Caffe - PARMA

We stopped in to this little cafe bar on our first day in Parma for happy hour drinks, or aperitif. Seating inside and out, but we chose inside for our two rounds of Prosecco and beer, overlooking the sidewalk, staff friendly, chips served witydrinks, we are happy soakintup the local lifestye.

Just dropped in for a quick lunch. We were lucky. We got very good food and very kind service in a very short time. It is worth to come here.

This is the way to be extra happy in Italy: take a quick simple-ab-tasty pasta for lunch, on a terrace on the walkway; beautiful people, good coffee.

On the way to visit the Palazzo della Pilotta, we stopped at the Matis Lunch Lounge Cafe opposite for a quick drink. To wet to sit outside so we went inside and stood at the bar, ordered a couple of Prosecco's then an espresso and grappa. The staff are really nice and served us little free plates of sandwiches and crisps. TIP: If you have difficulties in climbing steps this is a great place to wait for your friends while they visit the Palazzo della Pilotta

Italian Translation: Situated nel centro molto vicino alla Pilotta. Caffetteria e rosticceria con piccoli sedili, anche fuori tempo permettendo. Buoni panini e girelle con prosciutto e primavera, serviti su un tagliere. Peccato solo per la piccola scelta, probabilmente dipende dal periodo o dalle ore. Disponibilità del personale, prezzi standard.
