Taste Bistro - Parksville

My family and I were scolded by the host/server as soon as we walked through the doors of the empty restaurant and waited to be seated. We left shortly after this unfriendly encounter and cannot comment on the food. It seems that customers are expected to wait outside for seating, which we found confusing and unwelcoming. It appears that Taste Taco may need to work on their customer service, as our experience left much to be desired.

The enchiladas I received were the worst I have ever tasted. To top it off, there were no complimentary chips and salsa to start, and when I asked for a small dish of salsa (no more than 1 tablespoon), I was shocked to be charged $2.00 for it. This exorbitant charge for a tiny amount of salsa was the final straw. Needless to say, my dining companions and I will not be returning to this establishment in the future.

It gets better every time we go. Fantastic lattes with appealing food and kid friendly as the owner loves children. No matter what we order it is fresh tasty and eye candy for the senses.

Lovely couple and awesome food...always treated like a queen when i go.i love the creative way the meals are created.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic five-star lunch at Taste Bistro. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious, almost like a religious experience, especially when paired with a coffee and pecan brownie for dessert. The food was sinfully good and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet.
