Little Mountain Cafe - Parksville

This breakfast spot in Errington is pretty impressive. It's one of the few places around that serve breakfast, and I'd definitely suggest it if you're in the mood for a tasty morning meal.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It was recommended by a local.

The food was average, but the owner was very rude. She threw a couple of menus on the table and walked away. We had to wave at her in order to get coffee, and we overheard her saying something to the staff.

We decided to have breakfast here based on the recommendations of others on TripAdvisor and were disappointed overall. No one else was there except us and another patron who the server was sitting and visiting with. The food was not great and the service was minimal. Would not return.

I had a late lunch at this cafe and ordered a turkey burger with a side of borscht soup. The menu has lots of Ukrainian items. Soup was delicious - had lots of veggies and flavor. The server explained that they make the turkey patty - seemed more like a grilled cutlet than a ground patty and was also delicious. It was quiet in the cafe and we had a great conversation with the server. Seemed more like a visit with long lost family!
