Wine Down On Market - Parkersburg

I would like to give this restaurant five stars, but it fell slightly short for me. The service and prices were good, and there was live music during my dinner. I ordered the Brussels sprouts, which seemed to be trying too hard. They were made with good sprouts and had roasted butternut squash, walnuts, and possibly craisins. However, it was too sweet in the end. The shrimp cakes had too much filler, but they did have a good taste. I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars if that were an option.

Great experience and delicious food! Really loved the pear bruschetta, the burrata, and the confit chicken wings!

A friend told me that this restaurant was one of the best wine destinations for miles around, and I was not let down! The bartender suggested a truly exceptional cabernet, and the food was also outstanding. A definite must-try.

Service was fantastic. Food was fantastic. Very relaxed atmosphere. We were celebrating and possibly a little overindulgent… I think we ended up ordering more than half of the items on the food menu. Everything was delicious. Between 4 of us, we shared all the flat breads and the grilled brie sandwich, brussel sprout salad, meatball skewers, arancini, mushrooms polenta, chips fondue, and the pumpkin desert. Delicious food, great atmosphere, exceptional service, and wonderful wine, it's all here! Get the caramel apple sangria, even if you don't like sangria. It's like dessert! Also, the Brussels sprouts, yum!!!
