Takoda Tavern - Parker

Where do you go in Parker for great food and beverage and awesome service? Why Takoda Tavern. We went there with four friends and had a great time. The menu has everything you can think of to satisfy your taste buds. Pork, Beef, Chicken and Fish. Mexican Food as well. Man oh man is it good. I had the Rib Basket. It consists of 4 BIG PORK RIBS and the Best French Fries you could imagine. The Pork fell off the bone and I mean fell. The BBQ Sauce on the Ribs was delicious. All the serving size on everything our table ordered was generous. Their selection of beverage is also amazing. Everything you can think of they have. The service provided by our waitress Chailyn was delightful. She is very engaging and after speaking with you, has suggestions on what you may like to order. Because of her, our glasses were never empty and we had our food served at the perfect temperature. Bob and Nancy Nobles have built and manage a fantastic place to eat, drink and relax at the Takoda Tavern.

Yummy food, lots of choices. Get some wings for an appetizer. Bar upstairs too, if downstairs is too noisy. Live entertainment some nights. Staff super friendly. Restrooms very clean. Family friendly, kids welcome.

We have come here several times this year. My sister has been visiting my mom nearby in Hospice. It was hard to find a restaurant, because she usually has her doggie with her. But the patio was great! It has an amazing view of the mountains and allows (well behaved) dogs. Now, I am not a big 'bar food ' fan. I have several food sensitivities and allergies and this type of food is normally deep fried, battered, etc. So, I wouldn 't say I found the healthiest of spinach salads like I prefer, but I was able to eat a few things I liked, such as the Angus Beef without the bun or fries and Buffalo Wings (which they said had no flour or wheat on them, but please ask for yourself). My sister really liked the Crab Cake Salad and Buffalo Wings. My brother in law has enjoyed several options and he is tough to please. Unfortunately, they have a smoking area that is too close to the patio and it gets lots of use. I don 't have anything against smokers! But it is hard to eat when it gives me a headache and makes me very nauseous. A non-smoking area should be smoke free. I gave them five stars, because this is great gathering place with good food, LIVE music and a patio with incredible views!

Decided to go somewhere with outdoor dining. We split an order of beef fajitas. Had a couple of beers. Bill was about $25. Very reasonable and the fajitas were good. Sat on the upstairs deck. One of the best mountain views, anywhere. Would highly recommend.
