Bidra med feedbackGood food but don't expect a leisurely dinner. At the 1h 15m mark they will tell you they need the table for a reservation in 15 minutes. In other words, hurry up and get out.
Three fish we tried to order were out of stock, and the music didn't fit the rest of the atmosphere. While a restaurant should focus on not being out of anything on their menu, I realize it happens from time to time, so I can't be too upset. The music was 90s-2000s pop, which in the beautiful atmosphere just didn't work. Other than that, the food was absolutely wonderful, and the server was amazing.
Cute little sushi place on the southern end of Main Street. Service was good, friendly and helpful. It’s nicely decorated. The cucumber salad was light and yummy. The fried pork gyoza was decent. The Tokyo Nachos was yummy. It’s a fried gyoza chip topped with spicy tuna, avocado, caviar and spicy mayo. Dishes are decently priced. Solid place.
All in all it was ok. In my opinion having grown up here, It misses the mark for park city in most areas except the price. The rolls are very very small for the high price. The most expensive roll On the menu was half the size expected with very little filling. There was some of Kind of an error on the shipment so there was no sashimi or nigiri when we arrived, and having to have reservations, this was extremely disappointing. The spicy dragon roll was not made as advertised and we were told it was always like that. Also being forced to sit at the bar instead of a table, because we were less than 4, was frustrating having reservations in advance. Spending 160+ and not getting satisfied was a bummer. The default high tip scale presented to you when paying is also frustrating but that seems to be the trend. Underwhelming for my special occasion. I’ll avoid this place moving forward.
Boyfriend and I came cuz it's pretty much the only sushi place around. Nice decor and atmosphere. They were out of all beers except for one, might as well take it off the menu. We got the Jessica Albacore roll, the Rainbow roll, the spicy salmon hand roll and the scallop hand roll. The sushi rice in the rolls was soft but cold, and a bit too much. Salmon and scallop were fresh but tuna and yellowtail weren't. The sriracha and mayo kind of overpowered the salmon and scallop. I couldn't really taste much from the hand rolls aside from that. Prices were over the roof (more expensive than California sushi) for mediocre food at best but apparently, the owner said on other people's reviews it's because the rental premise is expensive. Hopefully he doesn't reply to give me attitude.
