Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant

This is the only restaurant chain I know whereby, you place a to go order, wait 15-30 minutes for your order to come out and, by the time you walk across the parking lot or within 8 minutes, all of your food is cool to cold. 2. I don't like that Cracker Barrel utilizes full microwave ovens instead of the safer grill type non microwave ovens.

Had a very nice breakfast,I had pancakes and baked apples was good. Also stopped in the store that have great things.

Had an excellent steak meal at a very reasonable price

I placed an order for the southern fried chicken family meal online to be picked up at 10:30am.. I arrived 5 minutes early as I always do, checked in and waited and waited. Mind you it was the 4th oh July and they were slammed but at 10:45 I went in and forced my way to the front, due to the amount of people mulling around and I asked the not so happy cashier about my order, the reply wa they will bring it out whenever it's done. Shaking my head I went back to my car to wait yet another 15 minutes. Went back in and even more people were NOT moving, finally i forced my way back to the cashier and i apparently found maybe the manager and he told me it was just being boxed up and then he proceeded to the kitchen to box it up himself. Finally ar 11:07 I had my dinner and I fO have to say it was the BEST fried chicken that I've ever had!!!!! Great family meal for the 4th. Enough said, thanks for the great meal!!!

EXTREMELY slow service even though the restaurant was just 1/4 full??! Server was totally indifferent to us and apparently only ordered 2 of our 4 meals correctly. 20 minutes before the 2 wrong entrees were served. Cashier stand is an absolute joke. 2 people paying in front of me and I waited 15 minutes to pay! Horribly managed restaurant
